We had a great stay- the house was very clean and very well decorated-just like the pics! It was fully stocked with all the things mentioned-shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc. . Joe and Colleen were responsive and gave good recommendations. The house is in a very nice and secluded mountain community surrounded by trees and very far from neighbors so it felt private. Some of the appliances were a little too high-tech for us. An instruction manual is needed for the coffee pot. The microwave did not work well. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again! This house is incredible!! we booked a week at Blackcap Lodge for our family of eight adults and our dog. The Home accommodated us easily with several gathering spaces, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and beautiful outdoor space. We spent most of our time between the pool and the hot tub and the sauna was an added bonus. The kitchen is well stocked and very organized. The home was wonderfully clean when we got there and check-in was super easy. Blackcap Lodge is located in a mountainous rural neighborhood that we found to be very peaceful. Because of how comfortable and accommodating the house was, we spent most of our week there. Blackcap Lodge is unusual in that Joe & Colleen provide so many of the little things that most hosts don’t. We did not have to bring trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, or even shampoo and conditioner! Those thoughtful amenities really made an impact because it is so rare for a host to supply them. It was a great week!

Our family of 10 had an excellent Fourth of July weekend at this home. Even better in person. House had everything we needed. A great experience at probably the best property I have stayed. Would certainly recommend and hope to be back.

This place was amazing, just like the photos. The owners were very responsive with any questions I had. My family loved staying here, beautiful neighborhood, very peaceful. Close to a lot of things like weeki wachee spring, renting kayaks, boat rentals. Super cute restaurant and bars. Everything we needed and wanted.

This is one of the most spacious homes we’ve ever stayed. The separate downstairs area for our young adult guys was perfect but they did tend to hibernate there. Only negative was it wasn’t as cool as the rest of the house. Beds were very comfy, huge refrigerator, extra refrigerator came in handy, pool area was great, kayaks was a great plus(we took 4 but the extra ones made traveling easier-not towing 2 more), super kayaking area, logging in to the TV was easiest ever and sufficient # of linens. But, Fishing is lousy, the neighbor said there have been no fish in the canals for years so don’t waste your time. Shopping is great, lots of entertainment choices in the area, and highly recommend the Silver Dolphin restaurant which is very close by. Thanks for sharing your spectacular home.

Joe and Colleen's home was absolutely perfect for our 10-person group! The house was exactly like it appeared in the photos. Everything was clean, well organized, and easy to follow based on the instructions they provided. Joe and Colleen were also incredibly responsive during our stay - the longest we had to wait for a response was 1 hour. The location was also very quiet and scenic. All in all, the trip was absolutely amazing, and I could not recommend Joe and Colleen's home enough to people visiting Bethel!

Joe and Colleen were excellent hosts. They communicated everything so easily and made our trip effortless. The house was beautiful and they stocked it with everything and more! Truly more than any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The pool was wonderful, the view amazing, the house was very spacious and clean with plenty of room for kids, parents, and grandparents. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Even better in real life. Amazing new place that is though through to the smallest detail. We were very pleased with our stay and are looking forward to booking this place again.

This was my first time using an Airbnb, it was a great experience. Joe and Colleen’s house was absolutely amazing. Clean, spacious the perfect place for our families getaway, you really do not have to leave the property.

The house was Beautiful, very clean. My favorite place was the kitchen. The pool was amazing,perfect temperature. Very clean. very spacious. Plenty towels, everything you need to be right at home.
