This was one of the nicest Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Tons of great amenities and all of the rooms were very comfortable.

Joe and Colleen’s house is everything you would want in an Airbnb. Perfectly clean and well appointed, it will make a great mountain getaway for anyone. We found the beds and linens to be so comfortable that I am ordering the same brand for my own home. Book a stay with Joe and Colleen and you will not be disappointed.

The house was a dream and perfect for our fall foliage trip! The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. And the outdoor space with the heated pool, sauna, hot tub, and fire pit made this one of my favorite Airbnb spaces we've ever stayed at. Highly recommend and would 100% stay again in the future if we're back in the area.

This home is even more beautiful in person than in the photos, it truly exceeded our expectations! The view is breathtaking, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The heated pool was such a wonderful bonus. We especially enjoyed the downstairs living area with the huge TV and the pool table, which was surrounded by two more TVs, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!

We had a group of 9 staying at Black cap this past week and we had an incredible time. The house is exactly as pictured and has a ton of room for everyone to spread out and have space, but also plenty of room to gather and be together. We loved the pool which is heated and felt like a hot tub- it was warm even on the rainy day we had so we were still able to enjoy in the rain. We also got lots of use of the rec room and movie room downstairs. Mini splits kept the house cool on hot days. We also really loved the bed in the master bedroom- super comfy!

We had a great stay- the house was very clean and very well decorated-just like the pics! It was fully stocked with all the things mentioned-shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc. . Joe and Colleen were responsive and gave good recommendations. The house is in a very nice and secluded mountain community surrounded by trees and very far from neighbors so it felt private. Some of the appliances were a little too high-tech for us. An instruction manual is needed for the coffee pot. The microwave did not work well. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again! Thank you Joe and Colleen for taking great care of your Air Bnb and your guests!

This house is incredible!! we booked a week at Blackcap Lodge for our family of eight adults and our dog. The Home accommodated us easily with several gathering spaces, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and beautiful outdoor space. We spent most of our time between the pool and the hot tub and the sauna was an added bonus. The kitchen is well stocked and very organized. The home was wonderfully clean when we got there and check-in was super easy. Blackcap Lodge is located in a mountainous rural neighborhood that we found to be very peaceful. Because of how comfortable and accommodating the house was, we spent most of our week there. Blackcap Lodge is unusual in that Joe & Colleen provide so many of the little things that most hosts don’t. We did not have to bring trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, or even shampoo and conditioner! Those thoughtful amenities really made an impact because it is so rare for a host to supply them. It was a great week!
